When you use that application from now on, it will open in a dedicated window without any location bar or anything else cluttering up the screen. If you right-click on many applications, you can choose Options to customize how that application works-some applications have Chrome-style options pages, others just take you to the regular settings page for the web site.

Note: Use the F11 key to get yourself out of full screen mode on Windows, or Cmd+Shift+F on OS X. It’s somewhat hard to see the text here, but it’s a distraction-free text editor that stores your data offline. …and once you click on the icon, you’ll be immediately launched into a full screen view. Some applications work better in full screen, like the Write Space application-you can right-click on it and choose “Open full screen”…
Once you click to launch the app, it will launch in a pinned tab that re-opens with the browser once you’ve closed it. Just go to any of the apps that you’ve installed, right-click it, and choose “Open as pinned tab” from the menu. Let’s take a look at the first one, Pinned Tabs. You can take your apps to the next level by customizing how they open-there’s pinned tabs, separate windows, and even a full-screen mode. This is the case for most of the apps in the Chrome Web Store, since they are just based on regular web technology like HTML5 and Flash. If you’re paying attention, you’ll notice that the Chrome version of NY Times is nothing more than a URL-which means you could easily browse to in any browser that supports HTML5 and get a similar experience. Not all web applications are this level of quality quite yet, but here’s hoping. Once you launch one of the Apps, you’ll immediately notice a difference-this New York Times reader is optimized and obviously designed to work well in Chrome, with loads of customization ability, and a rich experience for navigating the news. You can get back to your application list at any point by opening a new tab, and making sure that the Apps section is expanded. However, you can delete the desktop shortcut created from a Chrome website app icon, and the website will remain on the web apps page.Just a few seconds later, you’ll be staring at a shiny new icon on your New Tab page, which is where all of these applications live.

When you remove a website app icon from Chrome, its shortcut is also removed from the Windows desktop. We have How-To Geek bookmarked on our toolbar for quick and easy access, so we decided to remove it from the Apps page.
There is NO confirmation for this action, so be sure you want to remove the item. Release the mouse button and the web app or website is removed from Chrome. A “Remove from Chrome” drop zone displays on the panel. To remove a web app or website from Chrome, drag the icon for that app or website towards the panel at the bottom. The Apps page, also provides an easy way to remove web apps and websites from Chrome. Maybe you want to create a page just for websites. You can move it to any other page just like you can with the web app icons. The website icon is added to the first page of app icons. If you want to open the website in a new browser window every time you click the app icon, check the “Open as window” box. The Add to desktop dialog box displays with the URL of the website already inserted into the edit box. To do this, visit the website, click the Chrome menu in the upper-right corner of the browser window, and select More tools > Add to desktop from the drop-down menu. You can also add websites to your App pages and organize them with the web apps. So, to delete a page, remove all the app icons from that page and close and restart Chrome. You can’t delete pages, but, any pages left blank will be deleted the next time you open Chrome. You can create as many pages as can fit across the bottom of the Chrome window, depending on the size of your window.
Type a new name for the page and press “Enter”. To rename a page, double-click on the name of the page (or in the empty space below a horizontal bar for a page).
VIEW CHROME APPS INSTALL
This is helpful especially if you install a lot of Chrome web apps. You can rename the page so you can group apps to make it easier to find them. As you drag the icon onto the panel, a new horizontal bar is added to the right allowing you to place the icon on a new page if you want. To do this, click and drag an app icon to the panel at the bottom of the Chrome window where you see horizontal bars and “Apps” under the left-most bar. You can move app icons to different pages to organize your apps as you like. To rearrange the icons on the Apps page, click and drag an icon to the desired place on the Apps page.
